It is advisable to take note of the following mistakes when starting a blog either for business or a personal blog.

Choose what you love:

It is very easy to get tired and bored when you select a niche which is out of your interest.
Newbies or starters who chose a blog category just because they saw it glowing and selling somewhere had made mistakes and churn the blog because they lack the passion to move it on; there are many dead blogs out there that need to be resurrected.
The blogs are dead due to mistake the blog owners made when choosing the niche.

You are not alone:

When choosing a topic or writing your articles to post on your blog, write as if you have multitude with you reading along.
Absolutely, people will read after publishing then why posting a boring article?
Also, duplicate articles from other blogs chase away readers as they will see you as a lazy fellow.
Create original articles and contents for your readers and build your blogging world comfortably for people who dwell in it with you.

Proofreading is Essential

Are you in haste to post/update your blog? And this made you forget to check for spelling error and omission of words. This mistake can terminate and extract all the juice and points you are trying to make on a particular topic.
Always make sure you cross-check for spelling mistakes and errors in your articles before publishing/posting it on your blog.
Remember, writing is for now while proofreading is something you do after writing.
